A pop-up project marking the brand's first landing in South Korea

- Project Background -

This pop-up store was a project held at The Hyundai Seoul in Seoul as part of a collaboration with the Korean brand INSILENCE, marking MOUSSY's first entry into the South Korean market.

When deploying a pop-up store overseas,

  • Negotiations and various adjustments with local commercial facilities
  • Building a construction structure in collaboration with local construction companies
  • Promotions to encourage local users to visit the store

and other various preparations and adjustments were necessary for the realization.

BEEATS coordinated the overall project, managing adjustments with Hyundai Department Store and collaborating with local partners.

Coordination and execution of the entire project

BEEATS was responsible for the following areas at this pop-up store.

  • 1. Project Planning and Coordination

For MOUSSY's expansion into South Korea, we promoted the entire project for the store opening while cooperating with Hyundai Department Store and local partners.

  • 2. Spatial Design, Design, and Local Construction Management

Based on the design of MOUSSY's Japanese stores, we developed a spatial design that reproduces the brand's world view at the pop-up store. BEEATS was responsible for concretizing the design according to the local facility's regulations and environment, while managing the overall construction process by providing instructions and coordinating with local contractors.*

*The VM (Visual Merchandising) area was handled by VISUAL MERCHANDISING STUDIO INC., a group company of World Mode Holdings Co., Ltd., with which BEEATS has a business partnership.

  • 3. Local Marketing Implementation

We supported store traffic and brand awareness from social media through influencer campaigns and more.

Adapting to the local environment in South Korea to embody the brand's world view

ーPoints of Space Design & Constructionー

In creating the space, we proceeded with the design based on the Japanese store's layout while respecting the MOUSSY brand's world view.

On the other hand, for the actual construction, it was necessary to respond to the local facility's rules and the customs of Korean construction sites. BEEATS performed smooth setup even within a tight schedule by repeating detailed communication with local construction companies and adjusting the construction methods and progress to fit the local environment.

An opportunity to bring the brand directly to local fans

-Results-

During the event, many visitors stopped by, providing an opportunity for them to see MOUSSY products in person. The pop-up store, created in collaboration with a Korean brand, served as a place to deliver the brand's appeal to local users.

BEEATS will continue to strengthen our support for Japanese companies opening pop-up stores in South Korea.
