TSUKUI CORPORATION, which operates nursing care facilities nationwide with the message, "Toward an era where people live happily for 100 years."
Since July 2024, under the leadership of the group company DIGITAL LIFE CO.,LTD., they have introduced the cloud-based digital signage "Clomoni" to over 770 nursing care facilities (as of June 2025). This time, we asked about how "Clomoni" is being utilized as an information sharing tool for employees working at the facilities.

BEEATS: Thank you for having me today. First, could you please introduce yourselves?
Mr. Hideki Yamanaka (Manager, Public Relations Section, General Affairs Department, TSUKUI CORPORATION / hereinafter, Yamanaka): Thank you for having me. I am Yamanaka from the Public Relations Section of the General Affairs Department. I work mainly on internal newsletters and other initiatives to improve employee engagement.
Mr. Hiroyuki Sagawa (Specialist, IT Service Group, DIGITAL LIFE CO.,LTD. / hereinafter, Sagawa): I am Sagawa from DIGITAL LIFE CO.,LTD. I am in charge of internal business efficiency, focusing on the development and operation of internal systems for the TSUKUI Group.
Ms. Rikako Yoshizawa (Chief, Public Relations Section, General Affairs Department, TSUKUI CORPORATION / hereinafter, Yoshizawa): I am Yoshizawa from the Public Relations Section of the General Affairs Department. I am in charge of signage content distribution.

BEEATS: Getting straight to the point, what kind of issues triggered the consideration of introducing internal signage?
Yamanaka: There are approximately 20,000 employees at the nursing care facilities operated by TSUKUI. As the General Affairs Department, we implement policies to increase employee motivation and engagement, such as human resource systems, welfare benefits, and training, but there was an issue where that information itself was difficult to reach the employees. This is because, before the introduction of the signage, distribution was centered on paper media such as posters and flyers. Because there were times when we went through the trouble of making posters and sending them to facilities only for them not to be posted, there was inconsistency in information delivery.
BEEATS: There are many cases where Clomoni is used as office signage for internal information dissemination, and we often hear about exactly those kinds of issues.
Yamanaka: We had set up an employee bulletin board to disseminate information, but since the number of employees using computers for work is limited, we began considering installing signage to share information.
BEEATS: How did you go about selecting the digital signage?
Sagawa: I performed a web search and reached out to multiple companies. Your company (BEEATS) was one of them, and while each company provided us with proposals, I felt that Clomoni was the most superior in terms of cost and operations, so I decided to implement it.
BEEATS: Thank you. Could you please tell us in detail about the points that were the deciding factors for your selection?
Sagawa: It was the ease of use as a CMS (Content Management System). If you just want to stream videos, any service is similar, but the fact that Clomoni has a group distribution function was highly rated. During the preliminary study stage, we knew that the content we wanted to distribute would differ depending on the area where the facility is located, so the group distribution function was essential.

BEEATS: Since July 2024, you have introduced over 700 Clomoni units in total. They were installed speedily across facilities nationwide in a short period of just a few months.
Sagawa: Yes, that's right. When we conducted a survey of employees during the test run, they said, I learned about the information for the first time when I saw the digital signage. " We received many comments like this. Based on these results, we became convinced that installing digital signage in the back areas of facilities is an effective method for disseminating internal information. Therefore, the decision to implement it in all facilities was made smoothly.

BEEATS: I would also like to ask about the operational side. Specifically, what kind of content are you distributing?
Yoshizawa: We distribute a wide range of content, including corporate news, of course, as well as guides for welfare benefits, notices about training sessions, and guidance to archives of past training videos.

BEEATS: I am happy to hear that you are making good use of Clomoni. Are there any tricks you use in terms of operation?
Yoshizawa: Employees are busy every day, so they only spend a brief amount of time looking at the signage. Therefore, I believe that "every second counts." Instead of playing long videos, we strictly follow a distribution method of showing several slides summarized in an easy-to-understand way.
Yamanaka: At some of TSUKUI's business offices, employees are required to wear headsets during work as a means to share information and coordinate with each other. We placed signage in front of where the headsets are stored, and it was very well received. I feel that small configuration adjustments, such as placing signage in locations where employees are guaranteed to stop by, are effective.
Yoshizawa: Since it is necessary to manage whether content is being correctly distributed to the signage, I check the operating status regularly. Sometimes, I export the operating status into CSV data to share internally.
BEEATS: Finally, please tell us your evaluation of Clomoni and your future plans for its use.
Sagawa: In addition to our nursing care facilities, we installed one unit on our headquarters floor in December 2024.
We plan to continue using it beyond 2025 as a means to speedily and efficiently disseminate information we want employees to be aware of.
Yoshizawa: Moving forward, I would like to continue reviewing the distributed content and, by coordinating with our owned media, deliver programs that lead to increased employee motivation.

Yamanaka: I believe that Clomoni is contributing to the engagement of TSUKUI employees. We plan to continue increasing opportunities for them to encounter company information. As I mentioned earlier, more than 20,000 employees are working hard every day at the nursing care facilities operated by TSUKUI. Since the work of nursing care is something done by "people," we want to cherish the motivation of those who work here above all else.

BEEATS: Thank you very much for your time today. We look forward to your continued use of Clomoni.
Thank you for reading to the end.
