Osaka Gas Marketing Co., Ltd.

Osaka Gas Marketing Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the marketing business that delivers Osaka Gas's energy services to general household customers.
You introduced Clomoni at two offices: the Keiji Office (Kyoto and Shiga area) and the Northeast Office (Takatsuki, Fuse, and Nara area).
I think this will be helpful for those in charge who want to utilize digital signage for offices and internal use.
--First, please introduce yourself.
I am in charge of welfare and internal communication tool measures at Osaka Gas Marketing Co., Ltd.
Every day, I work on employee motivation, creating content for internal events, and following up on announcements.
I also handle responses for various deadlines and year-end adjustments, so it means that I use digital signage for that.
--What kind of issues did you have that led you to consider cloud signage?
At the Keiji Office, when we looked for a tool that could disseminate information at the same level in multiple offices in Shiga and Kyoto, it came up that "Clomoni" might be good.
The offices where the general affairs members are stationed are Takatsuki and Kyoto, and information sharing to Shiga, Fuse, and Nara had become thin.
It covered the delay in information to the members of the receiving base, and furthermore, we introduced it to foster a sense of belonging and enhance cooperation by sharing information in a timely manner and saying, "We are all members of the same group."

Originally, we purchased an electronic bulletin board to share business progress mainly for our sales lines, but our general affairs department began considering whether it could be used for office communication. Since our offices are dispersed, we were looking for a tool that would allow us to easily update information using cloud services.
--Could you please tell us the reason why you chose Clomoni?
I did not decide on the introduction myself, so I don't know the details, but it seems that the track record as a professional signage company, which is also operated at Kura Sushi, was also the deciding factor.
As someone who utilizes it, since Clomoni can be managed entirely on the cloud, I think it is extremely convenient that it can be accessed on any computer as long as you have the URL, without having to open it on a fixed terminal.
Your company's response, such as installation methods and usage lectures, was also very good.
You came to our office and utilized video chat, and since you explained how to manage Clomoni in a "study session," everyone was able to learn while using it.
It is hard to understand just by looking at operation manuals or confirming over the phone, and there is also anxiety.
--What kind of information are you actually broadcasting using "Clomoni"?
Regarding usage, as the general affairs department, the main focus is on providing overall notification to office members.
Regarding the new employee introductions currently being distributed via Clomoni, we do send them via email once a month, but I think the opportunities to see them will increase by playing them on a loop on the digital signage.
I believe it is very useful in terms of getting information across properly.
Currently, we use the signage to display things we want people to see at all times, such as various deadline event notifications, and that is the status quo.
We also add content based on internal requests.
For example, train timetables and employee cafeteria menus have been added based on actual feedback from employees.
We update this content once a week.
Also, for fun projects, we do things like horoscopes and bestseller introductions for 30 minutes in the morning every week, so I think it is convenient that we can divide the time and broadcast it like that.

Since we can assemble the schedule by day of the week, we insert guides such as "Let's go home at this time on this day of the week," and within working hours, we insert fun projects, putting breaks by day of the week and time zone.
--How was the effect of the introduction?
Since we have installed digital signage in the office relaxation space, I have come to see scenes of people looking at it while passing by, or when they are there. It's like looking at it naturally and softly while waiting for their coffee to come out.
The main purpose is to have people look and notice without even thinking about it, aiming for them to see good information they didn't expect while passing by.
Since I can see that happening, I think that is a good thing.
People seem to be quite interested in the introductions of new employees.
Because the screen is large, it is easier to see than an email.
It also seems to be a topic of conversation among employees.
In this era, there are many times when everyone is not together at the office due to COVID-19 and other factors.
Communication is becoming thinner, and it has become an effective solution for having everyone know various information while new employees have trouble meeting people due to working from home.
There is an employee awareness survey at the end of the fiscal year, and since there is a section for digital signage in it, I think we will also get a numerical evaluation.
--How was the internal evaluation?
I had a chance to speak with my supervisor the other day, and they were very impressed.
They thought it would be more expensive.
They told me they were surprised at how much could be done for this cost.
Nowadays, there are AI-powered video tools available in the world, but they are extremely expensive and cannot be implemented immediately.
Compared to such tools, I think Clomoni is very inexpensive.
Also, it was evaluated as having excellent convenience in that it can be accessed without a dedicated terminal.
It is also well-received by office employees that we ring the bell at the end of work and play internal exercises at the start of the morning.
I think Clomoni has become a very good tool for information sharing in the office.
