OMO Solution Clomoni Digital signage

Nikkyo Gakki is a special agent instrument store of the world-famous instrument manufacturer "Yamaha".
They are engaged in the sale of instruments such as pianos and Electones, musical scores, and soundproof rooms, and the operation of music schools and English schools in Aichi and Gifu Prefectures.

We interviewed the person in charge who introduced Clomoni this time.

--First, please introduce yourself.

My name is Furuta, and I am the manager of the Ike-shita branch of Nikkyo Gakki Co., Ltd. We sell musical instruments and operate music and English classrooms around the Ike-shita branch.
I am also actually in charge of managing Clomoni, which is installed in the Nikkyo Gakki Sun-clear Ike-shita Center classroom.

Unable to guide various lessons on paper media, we considered signage

--What kind of issues did you have in the first place, and why did you consider cloud signage?

We had the challenge of not being able to place all our paper advertisements in the space in front of the classrooms.

Nikkyo Gakki operates music and English classrooms, and there were many opinions from staff that it was difficult to make an appeal in a limited space because there are not only types and difficulty levels of instruments, but also a wide variety of lessons for children to adults.

Also, in addition to the flyers provided by Yamaha, we produce original Nikkyo Gakki flyers, but we have to narrow down the information to be posted when designing them, and there are many courses that we cannot guide our customers about, so we felt it was a challenge. So, we started considering cloud signage, which allows us to broadcast information digitally instead of on paper so that we can guide all courses.

--How did you proceed with the consideration?

When considering the introduction of signage within the company, we focused on two points: cost and ease of use.
We were searching for multiple signage services on the Internet, but we decided to make a final comparison between two companies, including Clomoni.

At first, I was searching on the Internet to collect information, but the first thing was that Clomoni's monthly usage fee is very reasonable, which was very attractive.
Also, I had the impression that it seemed easy to use because it can be cloud-based in 5 minutes and supports one-touch distribution. However, I was anxious because I didn't know the actual operation feeling just by looking, but when I contacted your company, I learned that a 2-week free trial is available, so I decided to ask for a trial immediately.

Decided to fully adopt Clomoni, which allows for easy remote operation and updates

--After the trial, you decided on full-scale adoption. What was the reason you adopted it for this implementation?

Two points: Clomoni's ease of use and the ability to operate it remotely.

Although I had seen the functions in advance on the Clomoni homepage, by having it demonstrated in a business meeting and conducting a trial, I was able to imagine it better after the introduction.

Especially with the distribution system "Hedwig," you can register the content you want to play just by dragging and dropping it, making operation easy.
Also, the attributes of customers visiting the store vary depending on the day of the week and time of day, but I feel it is a benefit that we can guide customers in a way that is easier for them to be interested in because we can decide the content to be played in advance using the timetable function.
I felt it even during the consideration stage, and it is a system that is easy to use as imagined, which is helpful.

Above all, even if signage is installed in a distant classroom, it is very convenient that I can change the playback content from anywhere immediately with just one computer without going to the site.
As I visit various classrooms, mainly the Ike-shita branch, there are many times when it is difficult to head to the Sun-clear Ike-shita Center classroom immediately to do the work, but with Clomoni, I can update the content immediately, so I decided to fully adopt it.

The timetable function is utilized with the distribution system "Hedwig."

--What kind of information are you actually broadcasting using "Clomoni"?

We are broadcasting information about the courses for music and English classrooms, as well as events and campaigns.

Clomoni is installed in the Sun-clear Ike-shita Center classroom within a shopping center, but since the monitor is installed facing outside the classroom, customers who come to shop at the supermarket, etc., can also see it.
After all, it is good that when we play guides on a large monitor, customers look at them with more interest than when we are just installing flyers.

The state of the Sun-clear Ike-shita Center classroom.

Succeeded in cutting costs while increasing the number of inquiries by 25%

--How was the effect of the introduction?

By introducing Clomoni, inquiries have increased by about 25% compared to before.
The fact that information that could not be posted on flyers until now can now be easily appealed with Clomoni
is, after all, significant.
Until now, even if parents were waiting when picking up their children for lessons, staff could not easily provide information about lessons due to other work, but by automatically playing information on signage, they have become aware, which has led to an increase in inquiries.
We have received comments such as, "I didn't know such a class was being held," and "I want to participate too!"

After all, if it is just installing flyers, customers have to be interested and collect information themselves, which is a high hurdle, but if it is signage, we can increase visibility and arouse interest with a large monitor, and customers around the monitor can collect information unconsciously.

Also, we were able to cut costs on conventional flyer production. As mentioned above, in addition to the flyers provided by Yamaha, we were producing original Nikkyo Gakki flyers, but we have become able to significantly cut paper and ink costs.

Being able to increase inquiries while cutting costs is a great thing, isn't it?
It has become a hot topic in the field that we are glad we introduced "Clomoni."

Scheduled to expand to other classrooms and proceed with content distribution that is closer to even more customers

--Could you please tell us about your future prospects?

We are currently developing it only at the Sun-clear Ike-shita Center classroom, but we are considering the introduction of Clomoni at all stores in the future to solve issues and measure effects.

In addition to guides for current classroom courses and events, we are also planning to prepare fun playback content such as music and English quizzes, and broadcast information that customers can enjoy more.
We would like to prepare content that is close to our customers and actively promote it.

Mr. Furuta, Manager of the Nikkyo Gakki Ike-shita branch, whom we interviewed this time.

--This time, we also asked for the cooperation of Mr. Kato of the Administration Department, who considered Clomoni together with Mr. Furuta.

My name is Kato from the Nikkyo Gakki Administration Department.
Before introducing cloud signage, we had to produce and replace tools for every event, which was troublesome and costly.
Among the services we considered, Clomoni kept running costs the lowest, and when we actually trialed it on-site, we were told it was also very easy to use, so we decided to introduce it.
Going forward, we would like to introduce it sequentially to classrooms that can manage reception to further improve operational efficiency.

--Thank you for sharing your valuable story with us in your busy schedule.
