ーBackgroundー
Don't work too hard at housework; make it easier and more fun.
In order to deliver these carefully selected housework goods to the generation facing daily housework and childcare, pop-up stores were planned in commercial facilities that the target demographic visits on a daily basis.
For this pop-up store, we were required to create a space that not only sells products but also provides a place to encounter ideas that make life a little easier, while empathizing with the small stresses felt in housework.
-Points for Spatial Layout Design and Construction-
BEEATS conducted site surveys at all venues, and after confirming the partition sizes of each facility, the surrounding retail environment, and the flow of pedestrian traffic, we proposed layouts tailored to the conditions of each venue.
In pop-up stores within commercial facilities, it is important to have passing customers notice you and stop naturally. Therefore, we designed a store composition that is easy to approach even in a limited space, while being conscious of visibility from the aisle and flow lines that make it easy to approach products.
Furthermore, we utilized cute illustrations to create a friendly atmosphere that empathizes with housework concerns. We aimed to create a space that is easy to notice from a distance and makes customers want to pick up products when they get closer.
-Results-
By designing the space according to the characteristics of each venue, we realized pop-up stores that customers visiting the commercial facility could easily drop by. While creating touchpoints with passersby, we created encounters with products that empathize with the small stresses and worries felt in daily housework. We supported the creation of touchpoints in a real venue aimed at the target demographic.
