Tobu Department Store Co., Ltd. has introduced 9 units of the cloud-based signage distribution system "Clomoni" at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro Main Store in line with a floor renovation. To deliver facility information in an easy-to-understand manner tailored to the new sales floor environment, we support the creation of a system that is easy for on-site staff to handle on a daily basis and can be updated from anywhere.

Using the renovation as an opportunity for more effective information dissemination to customers

ーBackground of Implementationー

The catalyst for this introduction was the floor renovation. In line with the new sales floor environment, we decided on a policy of utilizing digital signage to deliver facility information more clearly. Looking ahead to continuous operation on the sales floor, a mechanism that was easy to handle for daily updates was required.

• A price setting that lowers the hurdle for introduction and is easy to consider

Clomoni was chosen for its balance of ease of use and price.
Also, because of internal infrastructure constraints, it was difficult to install communication lines, so its support for SIM operation was one of the reasons for its selection.

Disseminating information for each floor with 9 signage units

ーResultsー

A total of 9 signage units were operated from the basement to the 14th floor of the facility, enabling information dissemination tailored to the characteristics of each floor. On the basement floor, it is used for announcements of limited-time fairs and events; on the 7th floor, it is used for promoting shop developments aimed at specific generations; and on the 11th to 14th floors, it is used for introducing seasonal restaurant menus. After the introduction, the sales department of each floor conducts distribution tasks. Because content can be updated on the cloud, we have received feedback that there is no longer a need to go to the site to replace data, and it has become possible to operate regardless of location.
