Seminar "[BEEATS x iBODY JAPAN] Latest U.S. Case Studies and Fitness Gyms Transformed by Body Data"

After graduating from university, he worked in the financial markets of Southeast Asia for 25 years before returning to Japan in 2014.
He predicts that as technological innovation promotes human health, the importance of data will increase for attracting customers and maintaining customer retention, as it will become possible to verify the results and effects of training and exercise by regularly collecting 3D body data even in fitness settings to monitor body changes and progress.

Developed a core system for body scanning and body data in collaboration with a national research institute since 2018.
The system aimed to introduce actual body data, identical to real measurements, into the fitness market as a "digital twin" even in virtual space; however, this was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After developing body type analysis functions and others, we have restarted sales of the digital twin, which is one's own avatar, to the fitness market.

Engaged in global marketing for major domestic manufacturers since 2012, responsible for planning and producing some of the world's largest exhibitions such as CES and IFA.
Responsible for digital business since 2019, overseeing business development and promotion including cloud signage and remote customer service.
Appointed General Manager of the company's Innovation Strategy Division in 2024.

What is a "3D Body Scanner"?

iBODY JAPAN's 3D body scanner "iBODY" is a high-performance body scanner that utilizes a core system from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). 12 cameras capture 1.5 million point cloud data points to generate high-precision 3D body data in just 30 seconds. Based on the measured body data (posture and distortion status), it provides personalized advice.

BEEATS formed a business alliance with iBODY JAPAN in September 2023, aiming to provide new customer experiences in offline stores using 3D body scanners.
