2022: Industry-Academia Collaboration - Marketing lecture conducted at Aoyama Fashion College

In December 2022, as part of an industry-academia collaboration, BEEATS CO.,LTD. gave three lectures on digital marketing in the "Marketing" class at Aoyama Fashion College, a vocational school run by the Hara Gakuen Educational Foundation.

We conducted lectures for second-year students in the Stylist/Coordinator Course and Fashion Business Course at Aoyama Fashion College, covering the basics of marketing and DX, introducing DX case studies of the digital business developed by BEEATS, and workshops to consider solutions to issues using an actual audio manufacturer as an example.

In the workshops, the students submitted many plans thought out from their own unique perspectives, and lively discussions took place. It was a meaningful lecture where BEEATS was also able to discover the seeds of new solutions based on the ideas received from the students. We hope to continue to utilize such opportunities to contribute to a new society where DX is accelerating in various fields.

Thank you for your cooperation in the industry-academia collaboration class at Aoyama Fashion College. Being able to have actual case studies introduced by everyone active on the front lines of the industry, and receiving guidance on digital marketing methods from actual business approaches, was something I could not have achieved in my own lectures, and I truly felt that it was meaningful and significant. Furthermore, I was amazed by the skill and clarity with which everyone spoke and explained. While students' ideas may still be rough from a business perspective, many of them can be seen as an antithesis to breaking away from past frameworks, established concepts, and conventional ways of thinking. It was purely interesting, and I often thought, "How did they come up with this idea?" or "What if we really tried this!" It made me realize again that in this day and age, the mindset of incorporating flexible thinking is what is needed.
